文本插图教学在小学英语教学中实践研究

一、活动通知

思想有声。行动留痕,在时光里赶路,在教研里收获。“教而不研则浅,研而不教则空”,为了能更好地开展教育教研工作,提升本校英语的教育教学质量,共同研究如何“以文本插图教学在小学英语教学中培养学生思维品质”。

为深入学习并践行新课改理念,构建高效课堂,提高教学质量、聚焦课堂教学、培养英语教学骨干,根据学校教研会议精神和英语教研活动安排,2024年48日下午第一节课,由我校熊晓旋老师执教六年级下册《Work hardwork smart》。全体英语教师调整好自身课务,提前围绕主题思考,并准时参加活动。也欢迎其他学科教师参与本次教研活动。

  1. 课堂教学

  熊晓旋老师的课堂十分活跃,创设情境,开展任务式教学,课件生动有趣,图文并茂,简约而不简单;环节紧凑,单词操练形式多样;通过整体教学,让学生感知知识的整体性和关联性。

    课堂上熊晓旋老师巧妙地利用板书,通过展示各种学科融合性的学习方法,例如唱英文歌学习英语、画思维导图来帮助背诵记忆单词等高效学习方法,从而教给同学们“Work hard,work smart”。

3.课后研讨

课后我校丁校长和英语组成员对于本节公开课进行教研。教师们各抒己见,纷纷指出课堂的教学亮点与有待改进的地方,并针对每一个细节都做了很好的剖析与概括。

李娟:熊老师的课堂锻炼了学生的综合学习能力,除了对课文内容的理解外,还与“跟上兔子”绘本进行融合,让学生们就“work hard or work smart”进行辩论,不仅是做到熟知课文内容,还锻炼了孩子们的思维能力和语言能力。同时又提出“学习其他学科的方法有哪些呢?”让学生用所学句式进行自主探讨,真做到read和speak的双重练习。视频短片和多样的图片辅助教学,吸引学生主动参与到学习中,提高学生的学习能力。

樊丽丽:①本节课基于单元整体教学理念来开展.注重内容的结构化,设计了逻辑清晰,层层递进的问题链.引导学生去梳理知识,有利于教学目标的达成。藏头诗开始设计新颖,贯穿课文。

②本节课很注重多模态显现方式.利用动图,视频等,将枯燥的知识丰富化,激发学生学习兴趣的同时帮助理解记忆。

③本节课创设了很多真实的语境,有很多多元的互动,兼顾语言的输入与输出,与学生平等交流,对话,有效组织自主,合作,探究学习。

④本节课是一节有意义的学习,教师把教学内容与学生已有的认知结构联系起来。引导学生主动开口说英语,学生积极动脑,动口,探讨了很多有用的学习方法,形成师生,生生互动的课堂。

朱妮娅:①课堂以学生感兴趣的图片以及视频动画来,引出本节课的主题,这样可以很好地激发学生的学习情。

②阅读课型特征明显,并进行分层阅读,整节课的教学策略都是以任务型教学为主,明确每一个环节的教学目的。

③在每一个教学环节中教师都有一些微技能的渗透,且不停提示学生解题技巧。

④这一堂课是一堂实在,系统扎实,动静结合的英语课。

  1. 教学设计及反思

Teaching aims:

By the end of the lesson,students will be able to

(1)use the sentences to talk about ways of learning school subjects

(2)develop a dialectic awareness of the relationship between work hard and work smart

(3)develop skills such as prediction, skimming and scanning to get more detailed information

(4)learn to work and share in groups, enhance self-cultivation and function properly

Key&difficult points:

(1)students can retell the story correctly and fluently

(2)Students can develop the correct value of learning ways

Teaching procedures:

Step1 warm up&lead in

S1:He drew every day, from morning to evening.

How does Liu Tao learn school subjects?

S:He draws mind maps to learn English because he likes drawing.

T:Lets learn some kinds of mind maps.

S:Liu Tao can remember words in the same word family easily. Mind maps also help him learn groups of ideas in other subjects.

T: Enjoy some kinds of mind maps about other subjects.

3.Lets discuss

T:How about the others? How do they learn school subjects?Lets read and find.

S1:Yang Ling likes reading, so she reads books every evening and she can learn a lot.

S2:Su Hai likes singing. She listens to English songs and try to sing them.

T:What else does Su Hai do?

S3:Su Yang and she often work together too.

T:Good. Here often shows they work very hard. What do other students think of this idea?

Ss:They form a study group.

T:We can share with our group members. It helps us learn better. This is teamwork.

4 Homework

1.Need to do: Read Story time fluently.

2.Choose to do: (1)Share the new ways of learning weve learned today with your friends.  (2)Read more picture books about hard work and smart work.

Teaching reflection:

本节课围绕“学习方式”展开,重在引导学生在学习中要努力学习,思考如何结合自己的兴趣爱好,用哪些学习方式提高学习效率。课堂利用视频短片和多样的图片辅助教学,将枯燥的知识丰富化,吸引学生主动参与到学习中,提高学生的学习能力,激发学生学习兴趣的同时帮助理解记忆。不过课堂节奏稍快,应当给学生多留一些自主思考,自主解疑的时间。因此需要精心设计小组活动,小组合作设计时要考虑可操作性,内容贴近目标,合作要求更清晰。

4.总结

一个人可以走得很快,但一群人才能走得更远。通过此次教研活动,给老师们提供了自身发展的平台。同时,教研活动合作、对话、专业研究的过程,加强了教师之间的教学交流。相信以后的活动中将会有更多的思维碰撞,激起更多教学智慧的火花。
