——四年级英语备课组集体备课活动(三)

一、活动通知

按照学校教研工作计划,定于 11 月 12日(周五)上午第三节课开展主题为4AUnit 8 Dolls的集体备课活动,11月15日早上第一节课在录播教室集体听课。请全体英语教师调整好自身课务,提前围绕主题思考,并准时参加活动。

 评课时,李娟老师指出整节课的结构清晰,过程流畅。教学内容丰富,联系绘本知识,拓展恰当。张琪老师说用音乐融入课堂教学,体现新课标的精神。总的来说教学设计可以说比较理想能够突出创新精神和实践能力的培养。

Unit8 Dolls (period1)

Story time

Step 1 Warm up& lead in

  1. Sing and dance

T: Hello, boys and girls, today Im your new teacher, you can call me Miss Zhou. Now,class begins.Before todays lesson, lets sing and dance...Do you know whats the song about? Great, its about body parts.We have our body parts,so do dolls. Today, we are going to learn <Unit 8 Dolls>, read after me-Dolls, dolls.

  1. Clean the doll (教授身体部位单词)

Look, I have a doll, But shes dirty, Im so sad, can you help me to wash it? Before washing, lets acting<body body bop, body bop bop>,after washing, you can see her body parts.Who wants to have a try? You please.(4位同学上台回答)

S1:I see eyes, her eyes are big.(带读 eyes, big)

Where is the doll now? Look! She is here, She is clean now, Im so happy. I love her very much,because she has no mum and dad. Do you have any dolls? Do you love your doll? Why?(S:I love my doll, because she plays with me everyday, she makes me happy.)

  1. Look and answer

There are more dolls, Whose eyes are smallWhose mouth is bigWhose ears are big?

His/Her...is/are...(通过对比,教授big,small,long, short; 感知句型His/her...is/are...)

  1. Describe the doll

Can you choose one doll to describe? I talk first.Look at this doll.Her eyes are big.Her hair is long and black.She is lovely and beautiful. Now, can you? Please work in pairs, lets go. Well done/ Good job!(2位同学描述)

Step 2 Presentation

  1. Look and answer

We all love dolls. Our friends, they love dolls too. They are talking about dolls. How many dolls are there in the story? Look at these pictures for three seconds, try to find the answer. Bingo, there are two dolls, a boy doll and a girl doll.Whose dolls are they?                

First, How about the girls doll? Its Yang Ling and Su Hais. Then, how about the boy doll? Its Wang Bing and Liu Taos. Wow you have sharp eyes!

Which parts of the dolls are they talking about? Lets watch and tick. Who can have a try? You please.Come to the front and tick. Excellent!

3. Skim and answer

QWhat does the dolls hair look like? Open your books, turn to page fifty, lets skim and the answers, when you read, you can underline some key words or sentences. Who is ready? You try. S:His/Her hair is short/long. We know short and long, they are antonyms,there are more words like this, if we learn it in pairs, we can learn it very well.

QHow about the other parts ? Please read by yourself, and then discuss with your deskmates, when you show them, one describes, one draws. Got it? Lets go!

(1)  How about eyes? Her eyes are big/ His eyes are small.

(2)  How about nose? Her nose is small./His nose is small too.

(3)  How about mouth? Her mouth is small./ His mouth is big.

(4)  How about ears? Her ears are small./ His ears are big.

Great! Big bands for them.

  1. What do you think of their dolls?

He/She is ...(beautiful, pretty, lovely, cute,cool,handsome, funny...)

What do they think of each others dolls? Lets listen and answer.

He is cool. She is beautiful.

Lets listen and repeat, please pay attention to stress and intonations.

  1. Read or act (4人一组,选择读或表演)

Now, can you act it out? Please work in group of four, choose one doll to read or act. You can read together ,read in roles, act in group of four. 2 minutes for you to prepare.

  1. Describe and guess (绘本拓展环节)

Do you remember who is she? Yes, she is Mimi. We know Mimi has a happy life, she has many friends. They are playing a guessing game, lets join them. Please work in groups, choose one of them to describe, and other groups you try to guess, if you are right, you can get bookmarks. I describe first, you guess:

Her hair is long .

Her eyse are big.

Her mouth and nose are small.

Her dress is blue.

Shes beautiful and lovely.

Who is she?

Bingo, she is Mimi. We can describe from three aspects:first,you can talk something about their body parts;then, you can talk something about their clothes; finally, you can talk something about their whole impression. Now, its your turn to describe and guess. Give you one minute to prepare. Time is up, which group wants to try? Your group please.

  1. Watch and say (看绘本动画,回答问题)

What else makes Mimi feel happy? Lets watch and answer. She has Flora. Flora plays with her everyday. They love Mimi very much.

Here comes todays homework, you can choose one from them.

1. 介绍你的玩具娃娃给你的朋友们,学会分享。

Optional homework:(选做)

2. 自己动手试一试:利用废旧物品做一个娃娃。

3. Yang Ling Su Hai, Liu Tao Wang Bing的玩具娃娃又会发生什么故事呢?请小组合作创编。
