一、活动通知
按照学校教研工作计划,定于2月16日(周三)上午第三节开展主题为“在story time教学中培养学生高阶思维能力——以Cinderella这一课为例”的集体备课活动,2月17日(周四)下午二三两节课进行试上反思。请五年级英语教师调整好自身课务,提前围绕主题思考,准时参加活动。

本节课是一个大家都耳熟能详的童话故事教学,那么怎样将这个熟悉的故事上出新意呢?在这节课中,需要打破常规,在学生接触文本前,设计了一些故事判断游戏,激活学生脑中对于故事原有知识点,为本节课的深入学习做铺垫。故事教学一般注重学生理解文本,而对于学生熟知的童话故事,重点是能使学生有感情的朗读、表演故事,为了能让学生声情并茂地展示故事,在教学中指导学生适时地朗读。在本课中,重点抓住了两个故事片段,充分引导学生体会人物特点,感受人物情感,尝试形象地朗读为下一步学生的展示做好铺垫。李娟:
在展示环节,事先给学生展示了道具,增加表演的趣味性,适时地引导,充分调动学生的积极性,大胆展示自己。本课中,要给学生创造想象的空间,如让学生谈论他们的愿望以及原因,以及为什么想当王子,对故事中人物的看法,想象更多问题,创编故事结尾等等,这些有意或无意而为的活动目的在于激发学生的思维,通过大胆的想象,用语言表达,在不知不觉中提升语言能力。
王鹍:通过听这节课,我对五年级的新教材有了一定的了解,同时自己也让思考出了这个问题,怎样在故事教学中让学生声情并茂地展示故事?
1、动作表情设计
研究表明,2—7岁的儿童形象思维占主导地位,他们对于生动、形象、夸张、具体的事物尤其感兴趣。教师在进行英语故事教学时,应尽量将生动活泼的动作、手势,特点鲜明的表情融为一体,最大限度地吸引学生的注意力,使学生融入故事的情景之中。
2、教学道具设计
使用教具能使教学生动、形象、直观,能有效地表情达意。常规教具通常包括实物教具、图片教具和木偶教具等。一般来说,实物和图片教具经常用来教学故事中的名词,也常用于游戏中,达到寓教于乐的效果。
五、教学设计
单元教材分析:
本单元以Cinderella的故事为主线,以why提问,because回答的方式为重点,学生在情境中理解,感知并掌握。
单元教学目标:
1. 能听懂,会读,会说,会用why…? 询问原因,用Because…回答原因。
2、能听懂、会说、会读 prince,fairy,why,because,clothes,let,put on, before等单词。
3、通过学习Story time和Cartoon time,能比较流畅地朗读对话,并能创编对话。
4、能了解中西文化中的一些经典故事。
5、能了解并掌握dr在单词中的发音。
单元设计意图:
以学生们熟知的cinderella的故事,呈现本单元重点why的询问及because的回答。在充分利用书本材料进行教学与操练的基础上,学生们自然交流,培养学生快速捕捉和获取文章大意的能力。培养学生对语法及句型的掌控能力,善于表达的良好习惯。

教学目标:
1. 在整体理解的基础上听懂、会说、会读故事中出现的词汇:prince, fairy, why, because, clothes, let, put on, before, have to, try on, fit
2. 基于故事听懂、会说、会读、会写句型:Why…? Because …?并理解句型的意思;
3. 能够听懂、会说、会读日常用语:Come and help me… Let me help you. I have to …
4. 能较流利有感情地朗读故事。
教学重点:
1在听故事的过程中理解词汇及句型Why…? Because …?
能够从整体到局部理解内容;
2能以正确的语音语调朗读故事,合作表演故事。
教学难点:
1. Why? Because … 句型教师可充分利用生活实际和文本帮助学生理解
