立足高年级高效英语复习课堂探索

一、活动通知

为促进高年级英语复习课堂效率我校决定举办一场立足高年级高效英语复习课堂探索的教研活动。本次活动旨在通过交流与研讨,探索如何在高年级英语复习课堂中激发学生兴趣,提升学习效果从而实现提升学生核心素养。活动内容包括课堂观摩和小组讨论等。我们将邀请经验丰富的教师分享他们在英语活动设计与实施方面的成功经验,同时组织观摩优秀教学案例,共同学习、共同进步。

根据学校教研会议精神和英语教研活动安排,2024515日下午第一节课,由我校张韵雯老师执教年级下册Project2 A travel book.全体英语教师调整好自身课务,提前围绕主题思考,并准时参加活动。也欢迎其他学科教师参与本次教研活动为今后的教学工作注入新的活力与创意。

  1. 课堂教学

张韵雯老师通关观看南京城市介绍视频项为导学,激活学生的背景知识,激发学生学习兴趣与主动性。请学生为视屏命名从而引发学生回忆总结了解一座城市需要从哪些方面入手如foodweather, transport等。接着通过创设Toronto这一城市情境,示范如何了解一个城市并使用填空的方式完成travel book的制作过程。学生在丰富词汇表达与承接情境的同时,积极思考总结,尝试讨论自己喜欢的城市,做好铺垫与示范指导的作用。最后以学生自主思考、合作交流等多样形式,写出相关城市的travel book并在班级展示汇报成果,引导学生成为课堂学习与探索的主体。采用场景体验式拓展汇报作为综合提升,让学生知识迁移至具体情境进行合作探究与展示,虽然高年级的知识复杂,但整节课堂气氛活跃,学生在多联系实际生活的制作手册过程中实现学生高阶思维的攀爬,促进了英语高效复习。

3.课后研讨

课后英语组成员对于本节公开课进行研讨。教师们各抒己见,纷纷指出课堂的教学亮点与有待改进的地方,并针对每一个细节都做了很好的剖析与概括。

李娟:本节课很注重课程梯度设计先由老师示范Toronto再给予学生机会讨论及最后由学生自己制作绘本和课文巧妙融合,在活动中进行知识的迁移和应用。建议以聚焦南京本土文化,可以课前请学生搜索相关城市介绍资料。

樊丽丽:本节课基于教学活动观理念来开展注重内容的结构化,设计了逻辑清晰,层层递进的问题链引导学生去梳理知识,有利于教学目标的达成。建议关注课堂小组合作环节学生纪律问题。

雷芳:本节课教学设计主线清晰流畅,创设了很多真实的活动语境

朱妮娅:本节课的活动丰富,通过看,听,说,读写,逐步生成travel book,旨在引导学生基于生活经验主动开口说英语,学生积极动脑,动口,探讨了很多有用的学习方法,形成师生,生生互动的课堂。建议Travel book 的生成教师可以亲自示范。

胡倩:本节课教学紧密联系学生的生活实际,用精炼问题将整体复习内容串联,实现了高效复习的目标。

高林萍:课件设计精美流畅,从如何搜索信息到生成travel book过渡自然。

秦莹莹:整节课的教学策略都是以活动串联每个环节,明确每一个环节的教学目的是一堂实在,系统扎实,动静结合的英语课。建议教师可以将多个小组的travel books合成为一整册album.

Step 1 Lead-in

  1. Watch a video

T: Before we begin our class, let’s enjoy a video. Watch it carefully. I will ask you some questions.

  1. Free talk

Just now we watched a video about Yangzhou. Do you like Yangzhou?

S1: Yes, I do.

T: What interesting places do you know in Yangzhou?    

S: ....

T: Did u go there with your parents?  

S: Yes, I did.

T: Did you eat yummy food there?    

S: Yes

T: What did you eat?

T: Good job! Boys and girls, you watched the video very carefully. But I still have one last question. At the beginning of the video we saw a lady with a book. What book is it?

S: A travel book.

Step 2 Presentation

  1. What’s a travel book about?

T: Yes, a travel book!贴标题,让孩子跟读。

T: Look! Here are some travel books. People can read the travel books before they visit some places. What information can we get from the travel books?

T: So travel books are important for the visitors. There are a lot of interesting cities in the world. Among them, my favorite one is  Toronto.(学生跟读,往黑板上贴图片)and I want to make a travel book before I go there.

First, I will draw a beautiful cover. What do you think about it? Is it beautiful?

Then, I will find the information of weather, interesting places, food and special transportation.(跟读)

T: Now I want to know the weather in Toronto. Let’s listen to the weather broadcast and pay attention to the key words.(点击录音机播放听力,播放两次。)

T: What’s the weather in summer?

S1: It’s hot in summer.

T: That’s right. How do you know?

T: Before class, I asked you to prepare a paper book, draw a beautiful cover and collect some information about your favourite city. Did you do that? If you do, put up your hands.

T Me too! From travelling, we can be relaxed. We can learn much knowledge. We can make more friends. However, because of the coronavirus pandemic, it’s not easy for us to go travelling now.

TIt doesn’t matter! You can read the travel books you made this class, then you can know a lot about some interesting cities. When the epdemic is over, you can choose one city to visit! Okay?

Project2 A travel book 教学反思

   在执教了6B Project 2 A travel book之后,我收获颇多。首先,在整节课的开端,先播放介绍南京的英文视频,吸引学生的兴趣。接着围绕Unit 5-8的句型,让学生进行复习操练。整体内容考虑到六年级孩子学情,以自主探究与小组合作为主,让孩子们从课堂中认知到自己原来是可以做到非常多事情的,增加自信与认可感。

   从课堂氛围来看,整节课学习的接受度高,活动设计让孩子们气氛活跃、课堂参与度高,对于词汇的掌握也很好,且最终能够通过语言目标和肢体动作表达自己能够做的事情,所呈现的效果达到了老师所设定的课时目标。

  但是此次公开课的课程设计也有许多需要改进的空间,比如利用Toronto作为切入点,不利于学生进一步拓展,可以选择孩子们熟知的中国城市,比如南京作为切入点,更有利于孩子们的掌握。
